ENTEC: FACE-TO-FACE TRAINING OF THE CET07 MODULE (JANUARY 25-28, 2022).

ENTEC: January 25-28, 2022: CET07 module training session, Professional Ethics and Haitian Legislation of the 2nd Cohort of ENTEC.

From January 25 to 28, 2022, the 2nd cohort of ENTEC, had the teaching of their last module CET07 in presential at the premises of the Normal Technical School (ENTEC).  This module is entitled: "Professional Ethics and Haitian Law". It should be remembered that this training program is commissioned by CARITAS SWITZERLAND, in accordance with the Competency Based Approach (APC) methodology.

The trainers present were 22 and were accompanied by Antoire Hénac PIERRE, Joseph Wisner LAGUERRE, Naldna JEAN BAPTISTE, Christène BELJOUR, Trainers of Trainers.

This training started in an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm. At the presentation session, the trainers were unanimously happy to see their trainers in person and to get to know each other.

ENTEC: FACE-TO-FACE TRAINING OF THE CET07 MODULE (JANUARY 25-28, 2022). On the second day, Mr. Pedro Pablo VIÑUALES, responsible for the education sector of AECID, accompanied by Ms. Maria Carmen RODRIGUEZ ARCE, Coordinator of the Vocational Training Program - Haiti, the

Victor AUGUSTE, Director of the Rinaldi Foundation, and Father Mytilien André, Director of ENTEC, visited the trainers. In the name of all the participants, Mr. Antoine Hénac PIERRE, with warm words wished them "WELCOME". Mr. VIÑUALES congratulated them and invited them to continue to progress in their training for the expansion of the professional sector in Haiti.

The training was very lively. The trainers asked very interesting questions and participated in building their knowledge. During the training, they made new discoveries such as: "Ethics is a fundamental reflection on which morals establish norms and duties. Thus, professional ethics covers the vast set of ethical rules that are raised by the concrete exercise of a profession. But deontology is the set of rules and duties that govern a profession. The trainer reminded them that certain values such as: respect, integrity, punctuality, honesty, benevolence, impartiality, discretion, love of others, sense of responsibility, professionalism, etc. .... are very important in the exercise of their profession.

ENTEC: FACE-TO-FACE TRAINING OF THE CET07 MODULE (JANUARY 25-28, 2022).The trainers also learned how to position themselves with respect to their rights and duties as an employee or employer according to Haitian law, international private law, and international public law.

 

The trainers left delighted, with a strong desire to continue working towards finalizing their certification module, and  be accredited by the INFP.                                                                                                                         Christène BELJOUR
